Forty Two Years Has Elapsed Since February 18, 1966
Computers Were Experimental, The Size Of A Bus
Man Had Not Yet Walked On the Moon
Gasoline Was Thirty Nine Cents A Gallon
Homer, Alaska Did Not Have Television
Rotary Dial Telephones Were In Use
Zip Codes Had Just Been Developed, But Not Mandatory
Microwave Ovens Had Not Been Invented

(Terry And I Would Buy A Plymouht Barracuda A Year Later - Cost Less Than $3,000)

We would live in Philadelphia; Jackosnville Beach, Florida;
Adak, Alaska; Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Durango, Colorado;
Grand Junction, Colorado; Montrose, Colorado;
Oak Harbor, Washington; Anchorage, Alaska;
Homer, Alaska, and Anchor Point, Alaska.

The Greatest Part Of The Forty Two Years
Is That We Would Have Four Wonderful Children

Shane S. Harrington
Shana L. Harrington
Heidi M. Harrington
Heath M. Harrington

"There Is No Greater Love Than That You Hold For A Child"

In Return, They Have Given To Us
Twelve Grandchildren
and
Two Great Grandchildren

"There Is No Greater Joy Than That You Hold For A Grandchild As They
Are A Mirror Of Your Child"

In Our Forty Two Years,
We Have Been Very Fortunate,
We Have Traveled The World
And Returned To Live Just
Seventeen Miles From Where
We Were Married.
It Has Been A Great Time.

And here I am in Grand Junction waiting my turn in line to deliver my Miller beer(no relation to Cliff). Nice blog posting, how young the folks looked-how old were they when you married? All that ceremony after, after the wrestling matches. The town brawl after the ceremonies.

I LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD....HOPE YOU HAVE 42 MORE...AND SPEND THEM DOING SOMETHING OTHER THAN RAISING CHILDREN...you deserve it!!!

Ranger Bill to answer your question, Dad was 43 and our mother had just turned 42, just a couple of years older than my two oldest children. In this picture, Tad was just 29 years old, younger than my youngest daughter, within three years of this picture we lost him to cancer. Shana, in response to your statement, we could make 42 more, that would only make me 102 and your mom 100, we are half way there now but the one thing we learn as we get older, the day never comes that you do not continue to raise your children, that is the way it should be.
