A Cold Winter Night

Posted by Stan Harrington

With an almost full moon overhead, I could not resist "shooting the moon". These shots were taken at 7:30 pm using the night vision feature on the new camera. Hopefully, in a few nights when the moon becomes full, we will have less cloud cover and I can experiment with some different shots.

I like the effect of the night vision. The grain adds a spooky feeling.

If the shed was not in the background I would almost swear it was a painting! Very pretty and as Heidi said, the night vision adds a spooky grain to it all! Practice up, I would like some northern lights pictures! I tried last year but never saw any good ones!

Talked to Ranger Bill yesterday, he was on his way to spend a couple of days in Grand Junction. I guess he was upset with CBS seguel of "Commanche Moon". The CBS station in Grand Junction burned down this morning, no more CBS on the Western Slope.

I was a little upset too....what happens to Newt? I am not sure I would burn down the TV station, BAD UNCLE BILL.
